So far I made the Nightmare before christmas based props and a scare crow im working on right now to be sleepy hollow/NB4C pumpkin King. http://www.halloweenforum.com/member...st-albums.html

but this year i wanna have my yard with tributes to each of Burton's movies heres my ideas so far

the scare crow is vary frightning and works better with a scaryer scene but i dont have much stuff to do a dark nightmare b4 christmas theme but i could make many stuff based on it. and theres not much i can do with sleepy hollow scance he's based on that but i dont have things for a headless horseman... but here are my ideas for a tim burton theme

a table covered in lovett's meat pies and a meat grinder with body parts sticking out.
on the table have many random old and broken tea cups and cards.
i found a cheap old man mask that looks like one of the sleepy hollow town's person from the movie. and mabe turning it into a headless horseman victim after i tweek it up.
and a zombie queen of heart severed head with the hair and everything (might not do this year)
some kind of hacked prop to make beetle juice or at least his head or arm pop out to scare you.
BJ's gravestone (might not do this year vary hard)
corpse bride's living arm prop reaching for you
and i would dress like one of the characters and act out there personality or mabe tim burton himself and direct the Trick or treaters lol

any idea's you have or like? these are ideas and are not final
I know theres alot more burton movies but i like to here your sugestions ^__^

I've always been misrepresented. You know, I could dress in a clown costume and laugh with the happy people but they'd still say I'm a dark personality. --Tim Burton

    Hi SG

I love the ideas. Are you only focusing on Sweeney Todd, The Corpse Bride, Alice and Wonderland, Sleepy Hallow, Bettle Juice and the Nightmare before Christmas?

Are you going to play any of Danny Elfman's music with your haunt?

Are you including any of his trademarks?

I did a little bit of research but am still thinking about suggestions. I will post what I found... someone else may have an idea

A list of Tim Burton’s Movies

    ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010)

    SWEENEY TODD (2007)

    CORPSE BRIDE (2005)

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (2005)

    BIG FISH (2003)

    PLANET OF THE APES (2001)

    SLEEPY HOLLOW (1999)

    MARS ATTACKS! (1996)

    ED WOOD (1994)

    THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993)

    BATMAN RETURNS (1992)

    EDWARD SCISSORHANDS (1990)

    BATMAN (1989)

    BEETLEJUICE (1988)

    PEE-WEE's BIG ADVENTURE (1985)

    Trade Marks

His films often have a Gothic feel to them, often including Christmas and/or Halloween scenes.

Frequently features dead or dismembered dogs.

He often likes to open his films with a quiet night time snowfall.

Often shows scarecrows in his movies.

Stripes: characters often wear striped clothing, particularly black-and-white stripes (for example, Beetlejuice, Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett in "Sweeney Todd," Katrina in "Sleepy Hollow," and Tweedledum and Tweedledee in "Alice in Wonderland.")

Often shows factory assembly line sequences (e.g. Edward Scissorhands (1990), _Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (2005) _, 9 (2009/I)).

He has an interest in clowns, and his films will often include them or make reference to them.

thank you vary much ^__^ im obbssed with him and have all his art books and bios ive seen every movie he made i was just not sure how to add that to the decor. i am planing to use danny elfman music. you gave me ideas thanks ^__^

    having objects resemble faces
having a twitching scissorhand or a edward that turns his head and moves.
i wasnt sure how to add edwood but mabe have cheesy paper plate UFOs and have a plan 9 from outerspace sign.
have many prop replicas from big fish
    add swerly gaint candy decor
in the back ground have voices talk while the music and prop sounds are going such as laughing that sounds like a character or a impersonation.
have a TV with news on saying the joker or penquin are attacking the city.
and mabe have pee wee's breakfest machene

i also collected art work from web sites and can recreate some http://www.google.com/images?q=tim+b...w=1659&bih=785 and MOMA hade some behind the sences for recreating his props

Hmm... sounds good. You should find yourself one of those... what
are they in English... those things barbers used to have, those knives.
Then you should make a tree with a pumpkin
