Thread: Witches Invite for upcoming party....Feedback????

OK....Here it is the final idea......any thoughts or comments....what do ya all think?
The party is for about 100 of my closest friends, and a chocolate witches finger, with a piece of raven ribbon is tied around the tip...then put in a plastic bag with a bloody piece of gauze tying it shut!! Very light enough to mail or just hand out!

The poem on the tattered paper reads:
As owls and bats and witches take flight,
your presence is requested for an evening of fright....

Brooms and spells and chants and tales,
A spell has been cast and will eternally last....

Old sister Abigail so green and dismembered,
has sent you her finger to help you remember....

For this spell to be undone, you must appear in disquise,
If regrets are to be had, you could meet your demise....

On October 23rd, when the moon lights the sky and the crow calls eight times,
Go to the eeriest house on ...........Home street name.......hence the spell will be done and all will be fun....

WOW I LOVE your invite. Very creative. I could not pass your party up.

I love it and may just snag this for next year. Or I might borrow the witches finger idea for a reminder for this year's Be WITCHY party.

I also love the finger reminder. I'm doing those with my daughter's Halloween Ball invites, although the fingers I found were zombie-like, not "witchie". I think I like the witch fingers better!
