Thread: naming cocktails help - heroes/villians

We will have 3 cocktails to choose from at our party. I was looking for Halloween themed ones (or ones I could rename), then I realized I should name them to fit this year's theme, heroes & villians.

The only one I can come up with is kryptonite. Any other ideas? Maybe a bright green drink called the riddler?

Do something with Blavod called the "arch nemesis" or something else dark & villany, maybe something with red bull for "Superpowers"?

You could also name the drinks after superpowers - "Sonic Scream", "X-ray Vision", "Resurrection", "Bamf!" - here's a Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ies_in_fiction

I like the Kryptonite... along those lines, other weaknesses for superheroes are (that might make cool sounding drink names): Noise Pollution, Slowdown, Bondage.

Whatever you name 'em, they definitely should be brightly colored a la Jet Fuel, Alien Secretion, and the like

Love the arch nemesis idea. It'll be perfect for my vodka drink I'd chosen, not with blavod but still dark colored. It's made with black cherry vodka & cola.


Thanks for sharing that blog llondra. I would have never come across it. I think I am going with kryptonite, arch nemesis & something hero-y (not sure yet).

The dark drink would be neat called the Dark Shadow
