Hello! I'm new to this board, but just found it an I'm sure to "borrow" a zillion ideas from the members here. This is our second year for having a party. We will do it the weekend before Halloween. Last year we had a very good turnout of about 60 people (kids and adults) and I'm expecting about the same (maybe a dozen more) this year.
Last year, the main thing at our party was a haunted house I made in the garage. It rocked, so I'm doing that again. On the inside, I had the kids making haunted gingerbread houses- that was fun and I'll do that again too. I'm just thinking I'd like to have another thing or two to do. Not really formal games since I won't be able to get a worker to run it or even get everyone all int he same spot. I have a friend who said she'd do face painting, so that will be good...any other ideas? I'm more looking for something I can set up in a corner of one room for the kids or adults to "do" - like a station.
I've thought about painting pumpkins (too messy), carving pumpkins (too sharp) a craft to take (a strong maybe) ????? "It needs to be a come by and do something" space. HELP!
