We are planning on having our first party this year. We always put on a huge yard haunt but we are going to incorporate a party this year. I have a game idea and wanted to run it by you folks to see if you have any thing to help make it better.
On one of TVs I run a loop video with clues and a number like
Clue #1 Moma Pamela was the killer
The answer is of course Pamela Sue Voorhees was the killer in the Friday the 13th
Clue #2 He haunts you in your sleep
the answer is Freddie Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street
Have 10 or 20 clues rotate all night. Each guest or team can write down how many they know and whoever has the most correct wins a prize.
Any ideas for more clues or how to make this a better game?

I love this idea. I wish I knew how to make something like that. I even thought about doing movie scenes, but I don't have a DVD recorder.

You could show stills from movies and ask them to identify the movie or character.
Here are some questions that were asked in a contest that from another forum I'm part of:
1) The original Halloween movie was very low budget. Most the the cast had to wear their own clothes for the film. Michael’s mask was no exception. Michaels mask was a popular film characters mask that they purchased for under $2. They painted it white and messed up the hair. Michaels mask was originally a mask of who? ANSWER: William Shatner/Captain Kirk (Would take either)
2) Up until 1999, the original Halloween movie was the highest grossing independent film. It was filmed at a cost of around $320,000 and made over 50 million at the box office. What independent film knocked Halloween out of the number one slot in 1999? ANSWER: The Blair Witch Project
3) While filming the original movie, they realized that the name "Halloween" was never used as a movie title before. So they decided to capitalize on it. Up until then, it had an entirely different name. What was the original title of the film? ANSWER: The Babysitter Murders
4) In the 1978 Halloween, Michael made his first appearance, but was referred by 2 different names in the credits of the film, with 2 different actors playing him. Besides Michael Myers, what was the other name? ANSWER: The Shape
5) True or False. Michael Myers is the primary antagonist in all of the Halloween films? ANSWER: False
6) Most horror fans know the following picture. Her daughter made her big screen debut in the original Halloween. Who is her daughter? ANSWER: Jamie Lee Curtis

7) True or False. In previously released movies, a different person played Michael Myers in every movie? ANSWER: FalseZombie Eradication/Disposal Unit (ZEDU) - K-9 Patrol Division
