Ok so I went with my sister and checked out the place her friend has offered for us to have our party it is an awesome place got an open area with a few scattered trees then it leads back into the woods with several trails one leading to the creek and we have been given free reign and I of course ask the family to join us seeing as it is their property they love Halloween as well but just moved here recently and don't know anyone so they but hadn't planned anything except to decorate for the tots. The wife was telling me oh hun we dont want to intrude I was like intrude its your land the more the merrier. So now we are just going to cohost i the party. Our theme was going to be luau she and I were talking she has more basic monster decor as do we so we are just gonna do a Monster Mash (costume party) So bring on the ideas![]()
Also I have a costume question I posted about it in costumes under (to dye or not to dye) please share your thoughts

Sounds fun! I would do basic decorations around the open area, even if this is the main area for the party. Then I would do up the trails big time! This is what I do at my party every year. We live in the middle of the woods so I do a haunted trail for guests to wander around in.
You could do a not so spooky tail for the younger kiddos and a more scary one for the more mature guests.
Happy haunting!
