I think it's a perfect date!! Why not? I mean they already have Christmas Decorations in the stores...so if it's not to early for Christmas...it is definitely not to early for a Halloween party! haha
Actually, having one early may help increase your attendance. The weekends in October closer to Halloween do tend to be busier for people because that's when EVERYONE has their parties. Having one earlier may be a smart thing to do. With a little planning I think it could be a perfect date (however, this is coming from someone who would have Halloween parties anytime of the year. hehe)

HECK NOOO thats not to early. Why thats the night I will be going to Disneyland for their annual Halloween party. Its actually when about 15 guys in accurate Jack Sparrow costumes including myself will be going. Since they are having it at Disneyland this year and not Disney California we thought we needed to invade pirates of the Caribbean :-)
HECK YOU CAN PARTY NOW I SAY. You could say something silly in your invites like the spirits were dying to party and couldnt wait till October 31st

It isnt too early. I went to a party years ago in July a CHRISTMAS party. Christmas in July so much fun, but Halloween party in October? PERFECT

No way! We were thinking of having ours on the 9th and ended up deciding on the 16th! There is so much going on this Oct. that it was the only date we could do it that all the peeps we'd want to come....could attend. We're calling our party a Get in the mood for Halloween get together. Honestly, I think any time in Oct is fine.
