Thread: need ideas for kids halloween carnevil

hey all,
my sister is doing a kids carnival party n im not sure what to suggest.
i think my ideas r a lil bit to scary for the kiddies.
can anyone help with suggestions....ohh the ages r 5-8 years old

Hmmm.... I was at a carnival last night. Besides all the different lights and rides, the thing that most sticks out to me at a carnival is all the games they have to win prizes. Maybe you guys could set up some games like that?

We did it two years ago. It was very popular. Coulodnt get people to leave. You can rent a cotton candy maker pretty cheaply. The invisible ink blackilight tattoos were a winner. Can use yellow highlighter pen as well. It glows brightly. Here are some pics:

What ages?

Depending on ages:

Get a bale of hay and spread out on floor with prices or candy for them to find.

Pick up ducks or maybe ghouls. You could make them from milk cartons,

Pin the nose on witch or something similar.

Order or make one of the photo backdrops in the theme and take photos.

Get a bunch of large rocks and let them make a rock person. You would need small eyes, noses, mouths, sprigs of hair, etc.

Carve fake pumpkins. Dollar Tree as them and they would be cute.

Cake walk is always fun. Or it could even be a candy walk. Use creepy music.

Have an adult dress as a gyspy or witch and read fortunes.

Lots of potential.
