I'm just doing preliminary research on the cookbook that everyone here has been suggesting that I write. This is what I had in mind for the overview and table of contents.
Overview: Too many cookbooks have been written on the assumption that the cook will be making food for multiple people. In reality, many of us would like to make great food just for ourselves with maybe something leftover for one more meal. As anyone will attest to, it's often difficult to determine at a glance just how much of the ingredients need to be changed and into what amount. In this cookbook, it's my intention to cover that inadequacy. In this book, I'm including all of my favorite recipes pared down to make it easy for the single home cook.
What we're going for here are simple, yet delicious recipes for the cook who can't tell the difference between Vichyossoise and Potato soup (they're the same thing by the way).
1) Helpful hints and techniques of cooking for one.

Now here's what I need from all of you: I need at least 2 recipes per person to fill in the "Other" sections of the list. Requirements: They need to be simple to understand, easy to cook (low number of steps to accomplish), not have strange or expensive ingredients, and have a MAXIMUM of 2 servings. Those chosen will be notified by PM and will have their name and city that they live in included in the "Acknowledgments" page at the front of the book.
For each recipe, there will be a color picture of the final product as well as black and white pictures for each step. On the title page of each section, I will include some insights of my and others' experience in small scale cooking.

This was something I thought was neat...dunno if you want to do it.
They are called "Bat Wings" but they are just chicken wings with ingredients to make them look black

This is the website that has the recipe http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/...ibles#slide_12Save a Gravedigger the trouble....BE A ZOMBIE!
