After years of not hosting my own Halloween party I finally threw out all of my party supplies just a few months ago. And of course, we've decided to throw a party this year. I can add party supplies to the growing list of things I need that I tossed out during that last cleaning spree.

I need all the usual suspects: plastic cups, paper plates, that sort of thing. Once upon a time cost wasn't an issue. Now I need to cut corners wherever possible. Which stores have the best prices for party supplies?

Dollar Tree has plates, plastic ware, plastic cups, etc. Last year I used napkins form there with jack-o-lanterns on them. I also got some matching small plates. I bought Solo brand plastic 16 oz cups from Dollar Tree in lime green and purple. They were with the regular stuff not Halloween. I found orange Solo cups at Walmart.

dollar stores and i have scored big time on ebay on party favors last year i got over 200 party favors that included toys,flash lights, halloween stuff for only $10

I went today and picked up my stuff. Their plates are 20 per package as are their napkins. The cups are 14 count. The dollar Tree I stopped at had 2 different styles. They also had a variety of treat bags and boxes.
