Okay I hope i am putting this in the right spot. I was thinking about activities at our party and I thought about a game of volleyball. It's crazy but I actually got the idea from a coloring page.
as seen here if you are interested: http://www.printactivities.com/Color...-halloween.gif
anyways, I was thinking about making my own, but I need ideas for a net. I was thinking making it look like the spider web in this pic.
Any ideas how to accomplish this.
I don't have money to waste on this so I'm hoping to use what I have on hand.

Could you use two poles (maybe brooms in the ground) and stretch spider webs between them.?????

I thought about the spider webs....but then I remembered that the ball usually hits the net, it might rip right through the spider webs.

In theory, the idea sounds good. It's the logistics that kill it. I'm excited to see what you come up with tho...
Is it Halloween yet?

How about using some of that "Creepy Cloth" for the net?

We used to make large spiderwebs out of yarn and they were really strong and cheap. I think they could withstand being hit with a ball if they are supprted by strong poles (got any branches laying around?).
You just start with a top and bottom horizontal piece attached to each post, then from one corner tie off your 'sun ray' pieces, and then weave (think like a spider here) between those pieces until you have filled up your net! I would use a bright color yarn for the web, such as neon green or purple and then place a large, black, hairy spider (with glowing eyes ?) somewhere in the middle.
If you're feeling ambitious you could even make some cool spider sacks (spider webbing wadded in a ball, covered in baby spiders and with a glow stick inserted) to hang from your net or poles. Have fun!~ Super Freak
I live in my own little world...but that's okay...they know me there

What if you wrap a bunch of spider webs arounds the net?
