We have had a halloween party for 4 years now and people love it. Im thinking of making a walk through made of pallets but how long would that take to set up and decorate? plus, what do your guests seem to enjoy in a good halloween party?

    only 70 days left!

It really depends on how much you have and what you are planning to do with it. I would say start building now.

Our party has been on and then off and is now on again! I agree with NOWHINING- start now and you should be fine. I am going to go with a theme I'm familiar with and try to re-use a bunch of stuff.

Trying to predict what will or won't "work" at a party is so frustrating. I think the big thing is just to put people at ease. Have fun, embrace the goofy (or not so goofy) party games floating around the forum. Be a good hostess- show them how glad you are that they are there. Ask your guests to help you, people will be flattered to be a real part of your gathering.

how long does it take to put the pallets up? and how many will i need for a short walk through?

P.S i think making up a creature and having a story about it would be cool, and then i could make a full size model of it. Is anyone a good story maker or just likes to make things up like that? all help appreciated.

I'd love to help with the story.

The pallet walkthrough is a very good idea, it's very disorienting and creepy with the right lighting; a haunted house I'm going to work at this year does that for the majority of the outside attraction.
