    This would be great to do with some old family portraits - doesn't matter whose family. Portraits taken in the 1800's tend to look rather grim and creepy and if you don't have any of your own family you can pick them up in antique or junk stores for pretty cheap. Just scan and print on vellum as shown. Very cool idea!

    We did these for our couple's shower for our wedding. People loved them and our parents took theirs home as a keepsake. I agree with Madame Leota...these would be really cool with old time photos, or maybe vintage Halloween postcard pics.
