Okay, so I'm already feeling a little overwhelmed... I've got three more of Joel's Graveyard Skulls on the way (which will make four total) and I can't decide whether to bring back the Cheverly Hillbillies theme, the pirates, my own version of Sindy Skinless and the Decomposers, or something else... Last year was a complete bust as I had Whooping Cough and ended up in the ER not once, but TWICE on Halloween night, so this year the party's got to be a blow-out!!
What's your vote?

If you've done all the others, why not try something new. Especially if it's your year back (without hospital visits), make it new. I think new is always fun to plan and prepare. I've seen a lot of people on the forum have done Haunted Carnival/circus. Maybe that could be cool.

If I had to go with 1 of the 3, I would go with pirates, But a boneyard with a hooded executioner would be awesome.

You have quite a selection to choose from, I would say go with the pirates theme, thats always a Halloween classic.

I was really sick and lots of our invitees also caught the flu last year, so our turnout was bad... so if we do a party this year, we're recycling the theme.
So that's what I would do if I were you. Your hillbilly theme was so cool and deserves proper celebration - and you already have most of your decor set to go - just add on some cool new stuff.

I'm thinking it would be really cool to bring back the hillbillies... Especially since I can have them sitting around the campfire TALKING and cracking jokes! Per Joel, the GYSs are in the box and ready to go... I've been waiting patiently since February! Can't wait to get them!!!

The TOTers did really like the outhouse and the kid-sized skel roasting a marshmallow. They all had to come into the yard to feel the marshmallow!"I'll bet living in a nudist colony takes all the fun out of Halloween..."

If you go with the hillbilly/redneck theme, and you know someone who owns an old beat up clunker of a car, the worse it looks the better, ask them to park it in your drive, lift up the hood, and have one of the redneck skeletons trying to fix it. People won't be expecting it, it'll completely startle them as they walk up the drive.
Get 'er done...
