Hi,
I would like some suggestion help with a scariest of scooby doo theme. Each year we have done an over the top, blood, gore etc for about 500 students. The kids are now 6 & 7th grade and have been harder to scare each year. This year we would like to do a theme for kids, and parents, of scooby, but not the cute side. Food in theme is provided, along with a 2500 sq foot dedicated haunted house where anything goes. (as long as I take it down within a week of the event) We have lined up an all girl, goth band (hex girls) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should probably do a bunch of different ghosts. Use the Pepper's Ghost effect or TV screens, etc. Maybe a Flying Crank Ghost (FCG). Maybe an Axworthy Ghost. I think that could be cool. As well as incorporating some kind of murder mystery with clues (but that may not be appropriate depending on your plans). I think it could be really cool.

blood, gore, rotten food, games, sharp objects with a killer to go with it.
I would say watch the scooby doo then if you see something you like, darken it up to the dark side.

We decorate our yard with the Dead Scooby Gang.
They are called Scooby Boo and the Gang-grene. We dress skeletons up in the Scooby gang costumes you can buy at the store. We made a mystery machine out of wood and put it behind them, and we used a dog skeleton you can buy online and put a Scooby collar on it. I have a picture in my albums if you want to see it. We left the window of the mystery machine open so people can walk behind it and pose like they are driving it, and get their picture taken.
