Hi All,
So, I wanted to start doing a perpetual plaque for the costume contest to keep track of all the winners and themes over the years. However, I live in a tiny town where the engraving place doesn't really have cool Bone font or anything like that. Also, I'm not sure I can really afford to do the plaque right now (the way I want to do it).
Which brings me to my question. Maybe I'll do the plaque later and retro fit it. but for now.... does anyone have any ideas about how to do a perpetual plaque type of thing, without it being an actual expensive perpetual plaque?? Any and all ideas are appreciated.

Get a multi-opening frame (like one meant to show 12 years of school photos) and put a photo of the winning costume each year. Photos are more fun anyways

That's a really good idea Heather! Thanks.
I've also been talking with a couple friends who are helping with this year's party. Some of their suggestions include getting a piece of craft wood from the craft store. Decorating it myself. Then just getting the engraved plates from the trophy place. They said if the wood is decked out, then the plain font won't matter as much. Plus, it will also be cheap.
I'm still perusing ideas as I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I have at least 3 winners (plates/photos) per year. I like the idea of being able to decorate the wood how I want. I could have a full moon with clouds. Maybe a haunted mansion. Skeletons, could be cool. But I'd have to be careful not to make it tacky._________

i REALLY LIKE THis idea but my sister and I dont bother with outfit contest, although I really do see the point of making a perpetual plaque to keep tracks through the years. It also add a good talking in the Halloween Party of "Remember when..."
