Thread: Halloween theatre ideas.

recently I posted a thread regarding a game I was planning at my Halloween party this year, to get guests to somehow interact with the evening rather than just be there.

as an add on to this, I thought about various ways you could put on a 'bit of a show' at a gathering/party. here's what I thought up, would love to hear from others.

As a way to get guests to interact, Have a head demon actor, with a bunch of lesser demons/minions roaming round all night interacting with the guests. then at some point the music would stop and a bit of theatre would take place in the middle of the hall. the head demon would act out their bit, perhaps instructing the minions to take capture of a certain person at the party (who would also be an actor and in on the show) and announce that the hostage was being taken away for a specific crime. The minions would capture her and it would be proclaimed she would be executed/ripped apart for their crimes. the minions would take her away kicking and screaming, and the head demon would announce the only way the hostage could be saved was if someone was to find a certain item, hidden somewhere in the venue, which would appease the head deamon.
This would create the situation where the guests are instantly involved in the procedings of the evening.

the minions could be as simple as a few people, all in black, faces painted white, spooky contact lenses if suitable.
the head demon could be a bit more over the top, maybe a latex mask and really over the top costume.

the whole idea could be scaled up or down to suit the party.

Sounds like a cool idea. We had a theater theme one year and it went over really well.

I dont think my guests would do anything to rescue the hostage though....unless of course it was the designated driver being held lol
