If you use the search function in the upper right hand corner you'll be able to find tons of great themes and ideas for them, but here's a few that I like.
- Murder at the Morgue
- Bloody Bayou
- Zombie Apocalypse
- Vampire's Masquerade Ball
- Haunted Carnival
- Mad Scientist's Laboratory
- Unwrapping of Egyptian Mummy
- Fears and Phobias
- Sinners and Saints
- Dante's Inferno
- Monster Marriage
- Superheroes and Villains
- Evil Nursery Rhymes_________

"Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company."

The older I get (just had another birthday), the more seriously I consider "The Ravages of Age" as a theme!

Haha. I really like that Wolfman. I think it could be both funny and scary. I mean, I use to have nightmares of little old ladies with green beady eyes when I was younger. (Yeah, I know. Weird fear).
I like it. I'm going to add it to my list. Thanks!_________

I think because of the movies that are out this year Alice in Wonderland and Wolfman/Vampire parties will be popular...

Our annual party is actually thrown for my niece & her schoolmates, and every year they get bigger & more obnoxious. This year the average age of them will be 11 - I think this year's theme should be "Silent Terror" - "Let's see how scary we can all be when we are quiet!"

Of all the themed adult parties we've thrown over the years, I think the one the guests got the biggest kick out of was "Come As You Aren't."
The invite instructed everyone to come up with a costume that reflected the exact opposite of what they (& others) thought their personality/line of work/domestic situation/home life etcetc was like.
In other words, to turn everybody's notion of who they were on its head.
Guests went hog wild with the idea & the party turned out to be an absolute BLAST!!The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague.
Who shall say where the one ends...the other begins?
