What are some of the things you guys reuse creatively or otherwise?
I have empty coffee jars(glass lids, not plastic), possibly a hundred plastic carrier bags, an empty Ferrero Rocher box, etc., that I just don't want to throw away because I feel I can use them for something......... Yet I just can't think of a thing to do with them!
Open to any ideas for these items, or ANY that you have done yourself.
I think this will make an interesting topic, and will be helpful to others as well as myself.
Oooh, quick edit; just thought of a use for the coffee jars - spooky specimen jars. I know there are a few fans of these amongst us!

Take your metal coffee cans and poke holes in them in the shape of stars, cats, faces.... place a little kitty litter in the bottom and a votive candle then use them as luminaries outside along a path or in a scene.
If the jars are glass, paint them and use them for candle holders, to hold body parts in fluid...

Oh, don't toss out those jars, they're gold. Can be used for specimen jars as you said, witches' potion jars, candy jars to hold a display of interesting Halloween candy on some shelves or stacked in a pyramid, candle holders...
As for the plastic carrier bags- if they're the thin kind, I save those like mad, must have hundreds. We use them to stuff our dummies & pad out other figures & props. Better than newspaper for this imo.

I'm saving (and asking family & friends to save) all clear glass containers with lids to hold "supplies" in my voodoo shop scene for our New Orleans themed party.

For the candy box, I'd put in some eyeballs.

Plastic bags (if you don't want to recycle them - check your grocery store as they usually have a large can/bin at the entrance to stuff them in) can be used to stuff old sweatshirts or the like to fill out body parts, or for corpsing.
The jars if they are glass, I'd make lots of lovely specimen jars. There are lots of ideas on here (look for mad scientist or witch kitchen) or if they are the standard metal ones, I love the idea of punching holes to form shapes and setting in candles. You could paint the outsides flat black and even punch holes at the rim and hang them in trees or from a porch roof or line them up around a walkway.
