Just an Idea: How about a "Potions Counter?"

For Kids: Get a bunch of soft drinks, non-alcoholic drink garnishes and juices together. Add more "adult' beverages as is appropriate for your party. Use food dye, club sodas, etc. to alter the appearances of some of the beverages - add spices- etc. Be Creative! Put the new concoctions in new bottles- or punch bowls- with fun Potion Label names.

The Game would be pretty easy to conduct. Each child/person would need his/her own large cup, a labeled card and dice. Set all of these bottles/punch bowls in a row, numbered Potion 1- whatever. Give each child/person a corresponding numbered/labeled card in the order in which they will go down the line. They would then roll one dice: each number rolled, 1-6, will represent how many 'shots'/ parts / measurements go into their personal "potions" drink. They write down the portions going into their 'brew' as the die is rolled. After they've gone through pouring all of their portions into their cup, they have to drink the "potion' they created at the end of the line in front of everyone else who has yet to take their turn down the line at the Potions Counter:

It could taste delicious, it could taste terrible. Very Trick-or-Treat if I do say so myself.

As an added bonus: if their "potion" does turn out to be delicious, they already have a recipe card so everyone else can try it too.

For the adult version of this game, I think there should be some sort of funny consequence for not being able to "stomach" a bad potion- maybe death charades would be appropriate. I'll leave that part up to you.

I very much like this idea. Thank you so much for sharing.
Now, about this concept of "Death Charades"....?
