I am going to do a CD invite and the insert is the invitation will be awesome. But I dont want to just slip a Cd in an envelope and mail it. What would be a cool way to wrap it or present the CD? I was thinking of wrapping each CD in cheese cloth and tying old raffia around it? Maybe a finger or skelly attached?
The theme of the party will be disco is dead and lovely Rikki is going to do a john travolta zombie in Saturday Night Fever all zombiefied. When I get the final pics I will post . Any ideas on how to scare up a cd? or mail it being cooler then just heres your cd?
Thanks
Erin

Wow...what a cool idea in it's self! Toe tags are fun & would be cheap tp mail.(?)
It sounds like a great idea, what are you going to put on the C.D?

I think the (relatively) obvious idea, given the theme, would do something disco ball related. Maybe a card shaped like a cracked disco ball with a zombie hand coming out. Or maybe you just attached a mini disco ball covered in "blood". That's all I got right now. Possibly more later when my brain is working at a higher capacity.

I like the shattered disco ball idea. If you or someone available is talented with photoshop or Corel Paint, an "enhanced" photo of Travolta might be just the thing - unless you wanty your live version to be a suprise...
An illustration (or photoshopped pic) of a tombstone with the word "DISCO" on it might be obvious, but hey, Halloween was never about being subtle! You could add a white sleeved skeletal arm rising out from in fromt of the stone... Actually, The Simpsons had it (the stone, not the arm) as part of the opening montage on one of their "Treehouse of Fear" Halloween specials. A screengrab of that might work...
Good luck!

If most of your guests are kinda local, maybe you could dress up in your zombie attire and hand deliver them? Or zombie-fy the outside of the cd package,(maybe tie a bleached bone) and set it on their porch or somewhere that they will find it....you might have to give them a heads-up just in case they are too afraid to open it!
