keep part of your house off limits. (decorate it to make it look scary when you open the door, flashing lights, wierd noises etc) NEVER let any of them get a good look in the room. if set teen pulls trick, ya send em into the room of doom.

the room of doom wouldn't really be a room of doom, its where you set up the real trick.

convince set teen to run out of the house acting scared as hell! (you can tell him to go round back and let him back into the party. just keep him/her hidden for a while (they can hang in the room of doom)

next kid, it has to go alittle further, say a head wound with fake blood, and again send the teen running outta the house. (you could even follow acting all concerned. eventually the rest of the teens are gonna wonder what the hell is going on and whats in the room. you know there gonna look. when they do, thats when ya jump out in scary costumes and scare the crap out of em.
    trick number one.

i just threw this together, i'm sure you could revise it.

    other tricks
blind fold and bowls of guts (cold spaghetti,) eyeballs (olives or something similar,) etc etc. have some fun with it

have them throw on something embarrasing and recite a silly little halloween poem.

i'd stagger the room of doom participants with some of the other tricks, to prolong the suspence.

Halloween is the time when kids love to be scared, spooked and startled. Lighting is your most useful special effect. Use lighting effects like flashlights, red light bulbs, green spotlights and night lights to produce low lighting that is safe enough to move around, but which highlights the scary things on your tour. Use some mannequins and props for added features, mannequins can be used as a mad scientist, Frankenstein, Dracula and combine it with spooky sounds the props with the use of Styrofoam by making tombstone, Warning Signs and even with the use of chains.
