I can't say what these are going to taste like but I am doing the same, going to throw together a batch of wings in the crock pot the morning of the party. I looked online and found this one which seems very easy and not spicy at all. I am personally someone who enjoys honey/garlic wings too...

    Honeyed Chicken Wings

    3 pounds chicken wings
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 cup honey
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    2 tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tbsp. ketchup
    1 garlic clove, minced
    Preparation:
Cut off and discard chicken wing tips. Cut each wing into 2 parts and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Place wings in slow cooker and pour sauce over. Cook 6 to 7 hours on low.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

These are so popular with my friends that they often make them for us when we go to their houses after we gave them the recipe. They should be a little sticky, very good too, great for those that don't like heat.

    Coca Cola Chicken Wings

    Ingredients
    4 pounds Chicken Wings
    10 oz can Coke
    1 c Brown Sugar
    1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    Garlic Salt
Onion Salt or Dried Minced Onion

    Directions
    1. Spray glass shallow casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
    2. Place wings in casserole and sprinkle with garlic & onion salts.
    3. Mix brown sugar, Coke, and soy sauce, and pour over wings.
    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours or until liquid has evaporated and wings become sticky.
    Recommendation: Turn wings every hour.

Would I be able to put these in a crock pot to keep warm through the evening? If so what would I put on them so they dont dry out. I'm all about enjoying the party and not having to worry about baking.

    Thanks

I have made the coke wings in the morning and taken them in a crock pot to a party that night. I just put them on keep warm or low and they were warm enough and tasted great. You may want to line your crock pot with some non stick spray (i think we lined it with parchment paper) to aid in clean up. They do take a while to cook, but the results are amazing. In fact we made these for a halloween party we went to last year. Once people tried them they were all gone in about 10 minutes.
