Today was kinda sad, I took down all my party decor and put the house back to normal. I was amazed at just how boring my house is without all the rats, bats, skulls etc. Anyway Id just finished packing up the last of it when a friend called and asked if Id be interested in doing the decorating for her daughters party on Friday! Well duh!! Decorating is my favorite part! So now Im all happy and excited again! LOL

She offered to pay me but since I dont have a clue about pricing and since shes my hair dresser I asked for a free hair do instead. She jumped on it and threw in a mani/pedi too!

How comes you take the decorations down so soon? I think you should leave them up till at LEAST the 31st..... in fact now i think about it.... just leave 'em up and then cover them with tinsel for christmas LOL

I hate taking the halloween decorations down.... sooooo sad.

My hubby is not 'into' halloween like I am. I leave all the outside decorations up till well after the 31st but most of the inside stuff I put away when the parties are over. It is sad taking it all down but getting that call from my friend sure made it a lot better!! lol

Awesome! I don't know if I'd want to do it all over again. That's a LOT of work!! LOL! However, to get a new do and pedi- that sounds like an ok deal!

well if I had to do ALL of it I probably wouldnt but all I gotta do is the decorating and I actually enjoy that part

Newbie haunter.. persevere with hubby! Mine was the Grinch re Christmas never mind halloween - but after 12 years his heart has now grown big enough to love all the stuff i throw at the walls regadless of which holiday it is! :-)

my third party (in a week!) was last night. It went really well!! We had 16 kids and they had a great time. I forgot my camera but my friend took lots I'll have to get them from her. I did snap a pic of the cake I made. Its a voodoo doll cake. It looked awesome with the birthday candle 'pins' sticking out. I dont do cakes but thought Id give this one a shot, I was pretty happy with it and the kids LOVED it. **this was the sample cake thats why theres a chunk cut out of his head LOL I wanted to see the 'guts' lol **

P.S. During the party I had two other mothers ask me about doing a party for them!
