Thread: A Twist on the Scavenger Hunt Game

I had posted a game idea in another thread and I received several P.M.s asking for more details. I figured I would start a separate conversation about this game and ask everyone to add their ideas for more scavenger hunt items. Here's some background on the game: I am a DJ in Detroit Michigan and I have 20 years of experience playing games at all types of events. I have a HUGE Halloween party every year at a hall and I try very hard to keep things fun and interactive for all of my friends.
The people at my party are 21-50 years old and very fun! They are drinkers that aren't afraid to get involved and do some daring and gross things. I have developed an interactive team scavenger hunt that doesn't force people to wander around the room or go outside. Everything on the list of items can usually be found by using what people already have on their persons.
This is a twist on the scavenger hunt:
I divide the room into 3 teams and provide one person on each team with a paper number 1-2 or 3. These people are the "team runners". I place a table in the middle of the dance floor and tell everyone that I will be asking for certain items from the teams. It is the team's runner's job to bring those items up to the table where my assistant will do the scoring. The first team runner to bring the item(s) (along with their team number) to the table gets 3 points, the 2nd team gets 2 points, and the 3rd team gets 3. They are allowed to borrow from the other team if that team decides to be nice. ONLY the team runner is allowed to bring up the items to avoid chaos as everyone tries to get to the table first with the items.
The success of this game lies in the items that I ask for. The items need to be funny, difficult, or should challenge them to think about what I am asking for.
Here is a list of some of the things I ask for:
5 Credit Cards
Pen other than blue or black
Picture of a pet
6 earrings (don't tell them they can still be on people's ears!)
Lipstick on a man's lips
4 keys not on a keyring
bra not being worn
2 packs of matches
Man with socks on his hands
Woman with her shirt on backwards
5 watches on 1 arm
4 shoe laces (can be on people's shoes.. shhhhh)
Hearing aid
Woman wearing men's pants or shorts
A person with 3 or more tattoos
Foreign Money
A piece of already chewed gum
A bald man
A lady named Sue
44 cents exactly
Something pierced besides ear
wet nap
prescription medicine
a button not on clothing
measuring device i.e. ruler, tape measure, thermometer
toothbrush
5 sunglasses on 1 person
man wearing women’s shoes

a bra that is not white, black, or tan
5 lighters all different colors

5 belts (don't have to be taken of...shhhh)

You can make the list as innocent as you'd like for a kids party or as risque as you want for the adults.

I have a whole list of things that I have racked my brain over the years to assemble. It is tough for me to keep it fresh each year with new items. The repeat guests show up with bags of stuff trying to get the upper hand on the other teams... it is hilarious.

This sounds like a hilarious game, I can already imagine my guests forcing lipstick on one of the guys to get the point.
