Thread: So.. is there a winner in the winking game?

I am intersted in trying the winking game - with our guests it might take this year to introduce it and next year everyone will be on board so im trying to figure out details.

Is there a winner? Or is the game to just see everyone die thruout the night? What do you do with people that might leave early? Do you right on the rules that they must die before they can leave?

How we played was the Murderer (winker) won if no one discovered who he was or the person who discovered who he was won.

we actually awarded prizes to the best deaths, but we didnt catch the murderer. by the end of the night most people know who it is. if guests leave early then oh well, their fault for missing out on the fun (hahaha) BUT if the murder leaves early then he/she should let the host/ess know (you can write that on the murderers paper) and i would say then you become the murderer. it will confuse people a bit but not by much....it'll be kinda funny. since it goes on all night most people arent paying close attention. they just know they will be winked at. and if some dont want to play, they just dont die and most will not even notice.
