Default Invitation and Theme Help

There are so many choices - I just can't decide. I have been trying to pick our theme for this year's annual halloween party and I need your help. It is an adult only party for 50-80 people and mostly couples come.

At first, I was thinking a witch or zombie theme but lately I have been considering a Wicked Wedding or Widow's Ball theme.

Our decor is spooky elegant/gothic mansion so I am really not tied to a theme from year to year. I was hoping someone might be able to suggest invitation and party ideas for Wicked Wedding or a Widow's Ball to help me nail down my theme.

Here our pictures from last year's party -- Our Theme was "Something Wicked this Way Comes."

Oops I meant to post the decor video and not the party goers.

Can't wait to hear from everyone about a Widow's Ball or Wicked Wedding theme!

Here's the decor video --

Well B Scary,

When you say wicked wedding or widow's ball the thing that immediately came to my mind is Miss Havisham in Great Expectations. Take a look at that movie for inspiration in decorating your home. Here's a photo of her in all her glory,

I believe the wedding place settings are still on the table and she wears her wedding gown. You could make use of those spider egg sacs i saw hanging in your video to give the illusion of time passing and the room starting to take on a cave like quality. You could have a woman play the part of a tragic aged bride who asks your guests where she can find the groom, or she can wail or get angry at the guests who have all come as couples as she herself spend eternity alone. You have lots of props so it should be fun to see what you come up with.

Another angle/inspiration I thought of was the Everyday video by Stevie Nicks:

She plays the part of a black widow in that all of her "boyfriend"guests at the dining table have been poisioned by the meal or her bewitching ways, or are under some type of spell.(I don't really know which it is) You could hang hammocks in your great room and stuff old dress clothes with newspapers and put mascarade masks over their faces. Your theme is so much fun, the guests will love it. Enjoy, I'm excited for your party which will be talked about for years to come!
