    Do you guys know if liquid laundry detergent comes off of matte painted walls?

    If you mean flat finish paint, that needs to be the washable kind, or else it probably would get a stain from almost anything.

    I'd test an area in an out of the way place.

    Yes, I meant flat finish. I don't know if it is washable. It was painted when we moved. Trying it out in a corner is a great idea! Thanks! I'll let you know what happens.

    Flat paint is the worst. Pretty much anything ruins it.
