There's an annual event called Dream Halloween on Saturday October 29th. Lot's of celebrities in costume toraise money for kids with AIDS. Posh Tot (they have a grown up version called Posh Nosh) is providing cool, food design treats for the event. They were also on Good Day LA this morning. They actually do affordable private parties, events, even single platter orders. Success hasn't gone to their heads! They even decorate with props from major TV series and Features. Here are some links (including pictures from last year's Dream Halloween event.

If you're looking for something to do on Sunday night, there is a really cool event put on by the LA Phil. It's a screening of the classic silent horror film - The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (with organ accompaniment of course!) at Walt Disney Concert Hall. If you don't know the film, it's probably the most famous horror silent film out there. I work with the LA Phil, and this is my favorite thing we've done all year. Spooky, creepy, classic, and fun. If there is anyone else in LA on here, I'd love to see you there!

Here are the details in case you don't already know this classic film:

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari – one of the first true horror classics – has been universally praised for its striking German Expressionist style, including its wild, distorted set design. This groundbreaking silent film will be accompanied live by Clark Wilson on our magnificent pipe organ.
