Sooo my first party is in a week and a half (Nov 5th) and I need help with decoration ideas for the garage. The party will be throughout the whole house, but we're setting up a beer pong table and what not in the garage. I need some easy and somewhat cheap ideas on how to spookify it. We will have a fog machine set up in there. I saw someone post something about using black garbage bags ( torn open ) to hang on walls. Has anyone done this and have pictures they would like to share?! Any indoor//garage decoration pictures would be great !! Need some inspiration. ! Thanks!

I don't have any pictures yet, but we just bought cheapo plastic drop cloths and stapled them to the walls. Then we dipped paintbrushes in laundry detergent and splattered it all over. Then we replaced the lightbulbs with blacklights and - presto! - decorated garage for about $5. Of course, our beer pong table is Halloween themed and our casket cooler is going out there too.

You may have one of those finished wall type garage, so this may not apply. We have unfinished walls and hang white sheets everywhere. Cheesecloth is cheap. buy a few pack and soak in coffee grounds overnight, stretch it out and shred it a bit. Then hang in sheets from the ceiling like webbing. It looks really creepy. Cover all chairs with white sheets.
Old framed painting or old framed mirrors work well too. Think old house. Get the feeling of an old attic. http://horroween333.com/yardhaunts.html has a few shots of our interior garage.

    Have fun!

Last year we bought black plastic drop cloths from Home Depot really inexpensively. They are huge and covered 75% of our garage (we bought 4 I think). Then we bought some white sheets from a thrift store and hung them on the garage doors and splattered fake blood on them.

I bought ours at Dollar General ($1.25 for a 9x12ft clear drop cloth), but I'm sure you could get them at Walmart or Lowes/Home Depot like PP said. My plan B was vinyl shower curtain liners from Walmart for about $2.

Home depot or menards sells black plastic in rolls of varying length. So you could buy a roll of 12' x 72' and wrap your room in one sheet.

YES! We do beer pong in the garage as well. You can get eyeball balls (at Spencers or online). We do the walls in black plastic, either garbage bags or can buy a roll of the stuff (bisquine??) at home improvement store, this way it can be re-used. We do the fog machine, black lights and a prop or 2.
