    Hi all,

I finally sorted my slasher/horror movie theme party and instead of a full body sized food man - I'm just going to have little tables made up like a restaurant with plates set on like a dinner. The kitchen is butcher human body so I wanted ideas for how to make ordinary dishes (mainly cold simple food) seem like body parts.

is there a link or thread been done before on this or anyone have any ideas please?

    thanks!!

my first thought was " something with ketchup" lol.. U could also make eyeballs from halfed small tomatoes stuffed with creamcheese, and a slice of olive in he middle. Also bread is a fantastic material -you could form a leg, or and arm etc, of the bread.
Alo im thinking you could do stuff with pizza, same principle, shaping it. ( now with more red sauce :P)

If u want it slightly gross you can experiment with sausages as intestines, or use minced meat to shape any bodypart you want, maybe with a filling -or make a dish inspired by beef wellington with crusty dough on the outside and meat inside to make it looke like a severed limb.

Something as simple as a skelleton (washed) spread out on a table with cold cuts rolled up and coming out from between the ribs looks pretty good. You could add olives, pickles, etc.

The puking pumpkin is a favorite of mine. You could do the same thing with a skelly head.

This sausage bread posted on here is great. The recipe is in the thread. Also a pic of a puking pumpkin.
