I picked up some black spaghetti noodles after Halloween last year. I'm hoping to make an awesome dish for my party (29th)with them, but keep drawing a blank. Any ideas?

I would do a cold sesame noodle salad. That way the black pasta would retain its appearance. Simply buy some good quality sesame oil from the ethnic section of any supermarket. You can toss the cooked noodles in the sesame oil, maybe with a little seasoned rice wine vinegar (just a little), then salt and pepper to taste, and finally, add some sesame seeds, black ones if you can find them, but the regular ones will give nice contrast. Toss it and it is ready to serve. You can even make it the day before and refrigerate it. Just add a splash more sesame oil and toss again before serving to make up for what was absorbed by the pasta. You could also add a little bit of Tahini paste, although that would alter the appearance and is just gilding the lily.

I googled "black pasta" and many recipes came up. I guess it's what you are comfortable with and how you want it presented. Black spaghetti with marinara sauce would appear gory, but you might not want that! If not....just a nice light sauce would be nice. This recipe caught my eye....
