    Default Any Suggestions? – 10-13-2011,11:17 AM


    I have 3 jars of plain hummus my sister gave me that I figured I could put out on the table for the party. Anyone have any suggestions to spruce it up a bit? It just tastes kinda blah, so I was thinking some garlic powder or something?

    roasted red peppers and garlic or green onions chopped really fine... yum!
    Added bonus - red peppers will look kind of gross mixed in and you can call it something equally gross or funny...

    my brain keeps going to "Hummuscide" but there's something better out there I'm sure.

    I really like the taste of a bit of garam masala or curry in hummus. It seems most of the store
    bought hummus needs more garlic. (Adding it has the added benefit of keeping people a little further away
    during flu season! lol)
