I am drawing such a blank for my back patio... any ideas?
I'm doing a vampire theme but it doesn't necessarily have to be themed.
I'm going to have a fire pit in the middle of the chairs.
Right now, I would just do orange lights and creepy cloth but I feel like you guys could help me think of something better.
Any suggestions are appreciated?

Flames, red lights, and call it "The Crypt" or something? Sort of like a lounge for vamps.

i like use crypt idea but take it even further and make it a modern vampire lounge. black lights, gothic look but in a modern club kinda way. a place for the cool and stylish vampire to chill.

Hang black flowing fabric over the umbrella, or get one of those netted canopy things that have been popular in the last few years--I have a dark red one that would be perfect...got it from Pier One--not sure they carry them anymore. Something like this http://www.google.com/products/catal...wAQ#ps-sellers
Fill that tree with hanging candles--you can use most any kind of jar or candleholder. Wrap wire around the top and loop over the top to make a hanger. You could leave them clear or paint them. Use the 3 for $1.00 battery tea lights from the dollar store in the jars. Here is a way to do the jars--but you could use the idea and make the glass containers whatever you wanted. http://mizerella.blogspot.com/2011/0...-lanterns.html
I would see if you can find cheap fabric, a dollar or less a yard and hang it all around your fence, tree, brick wall etc. For twenty bucks, twenty yards of a black, grey, or maroon fabric is a lot of bang for your buck. Walmart use to carry a dollar a yard fabric, but hardly any of their stores carry fabric anymore. I have a fabric outlet near me that has tons of this kind of fabric, you may want to check near you to see if there is something like that
