Well, most of the things I wanted to get done, got done...and the party was wonderful!! We had a great time, good food, the Best Punch Ever, fun games. And there were some really FABULOUS costumes this year, I had to give TWO prizes for most original...you"ll see why. Here's a few pics...the rest are in an album in my profile. Enjoy!

The party looks great Hooch!! Lmao at the witch doctors. Your decorations are fabulous, especially like the creepy cloth going up the stairwell. Your dress is gorgeous - is that a costume or did you make that? Oh, and what games did you play? What did you give out for costume prizes? Details, Hooch, we need details!

I know, I would love a witches wing ding, but don't think any one would dress up, was asked what would we do? I said just have, fun,, lots of things , just us gal;s! but not sure any one would come! sigh.................. boring friends!

Thanks to everyone who looked at my albums and made such kind comments. You all are sweet.

Tannasgach, we played a version of truth/dare and a great, howlingly funny game of pictionary (with all witchy/Halloween words and phrases). Young witches teamed against the older witches, and they tromped our butts, I am sorry to say!!

As for the gifts, I usually give three categories, Most Glamorous Witch, Most Original Witch, and Most Classic Witch. This year the Glamour Witch got a spider necklace and earrrings, some glittery nail polish, and a scented candle. The Original Witch got a movie theatre gift certificate, and an LED candle. The Classic Witch got a gift certificate to our local "classic" ice cream shop, and an LED candle. All three also got a Pez dispenser shaped like a witch, a little light up snow globe sort of thing shaped like a witch, Godiva chocolate, and a candy bar with a witch on the wrapper. But then I had to run upstairs and fix up another prize basket for my second Most Original...good thing I had started collecting things for the costume prizes for the Halloween party!! My 2nd Most Original got a movie theatre ticket and a silver skull dip bowl with matching spreader.

And my costume was purchased...I WISH I was talented enough to sew that!!!
