Hey!!
I'm doing a Van Helsing office theme for my office (the one in my home... my party is a vampire theme).
So far I plan on
-hanging some crosses and strands of garlic in there (I think I saw fake strands of garlic at World Market one time... anyone know?)
-Hanging a dart board with a picture of Dracula pinned to it with darts (its possible I'm the only one that thinks thats funny... lol)
- putting things on the shelves like a skull, some vampire books, my voodoo doll... anything that suggests travelling or vampire hunting... I figure Van Helsing has travelled a lot.... Any ideas on what else to put on the shelves?
- I really want a big crinkled poster map of the Transylvania/Romania area with little like x's and frustrated 'NOT HERE' on them... like he's tracking Dracula... and then a US map with my location circled... I'm actually having trouble finding a big map of Transylvania... I need a cheap one that I can write on... the ones I found on Amazon and Ebay are really expensive... any ideas?
-I think I'm going to try to get a Van Helsing coffee mug (either make one with a label maker or order a custom made one) and put it there
- Maybe try to make a professional looking doctorate degree and put it framed on the wall...
- I have the new vamp head with the cross burned into it from Spirit to hang in there.
I feel like I'm missing a wow factor or something...
Opinions? Suggestions or what to do or where to get stuff?
Thanks!

How about a "WANTED" poster of Van Helsing?

Add some fake, vintage newspaper clippings.
This link will generate a brief snippet: http://www.fodey.com/generators/newspaper/snippet.asp, but unfortunately it's very small.
Here's one that I just made:

There may be some other, more substantial newspaper-clipping-generators out there. Or you could always just make your own using your word-processing software and/or Photoshop.
Edited again to add: Someone on the forum had created a vampire-hunter's kit that she uses in her display, but I can't remember whom or in which thread.Last edited by Saruman of Many Colours; 09-30-2011 at 09:50 AM. Reason: To clarify. To add.

Maybe some "spy" photos of vampires or people who look like vampires out in a crowd? If you can print some out & strew them over the desk, it'll be like he's looking thru pics to find him. Some theories believe you can take a pic of a vampire, some not - so depends on which way you're going to go with it.
Souveneirs of Van Helsing's travels? Vampire fangs in jars, stuff like that.....I didn't make him for you!... He carries the Charles Atlas seal of approval.
It's not easy having a good time! Even smiling makes my face ache!

If you could find a good photo of the map you want, you could blow it up using the website below and tape it together as a puzzle.

Sometimes the image can get pixelated but it may still work, depending on how big you want it. If your going to crinkle it anyway , it may be fine. I use this website all the time and it's free! Good luck!
