Thread: Help with Bathroom toliet idea....

I know I saw this idea last year, but looking for someone who posted it or had success.
Blood Red Toliet water for every flush....I think it said use a tidy bowl container, empty it, fill it with red pool dye, and use a papertowel to act as a wick. Put in toliet tank, so that every flush is deep red...anyone ever done this? I'm having a hard time finding the post it was on.

Great idea! I asked my hubby who is a plumber, and he said he would do exactly what you described, except he doesn't see a reason for the wick, as the despenser should only put out a little at a time.

I would be worried about whether that would stain the porcelain in the bowl?

pool dye shouldn't stain the bowl should it? I've read (on here I think) that you can get dyes that won't stain but can't seem to find what they're called but theyre used for kiddies bath time fun.
