Thread: Scavenger Hunt Clues

Okay so we have decided to try and include a photo scavenger hunt in this years party, problem is I am drawing a complete blank. Our party is on Oct 15 which elliminates the usual stuff that you would only see during TOTing. I want to do some search and find items like black cat, pumpkin, fall leaves, cobwebs, tombstone, etc. (but am having loads of trouble coming up with riddles/clues) and I would also like to include activities like dressing a stranger like a mummy (T Paper), making chalk outline around 3 team members, do a Halloween carol, etc.

Our hunt will only include our neighborhood...other areas we can incorporate are the pool, basketball goals, and walking trails (wooded area)...please I need help...riddles/clues, activities, whatever you can think of. Thanks so much

Here's a riddle for the kids for a jack o lantern -

Jack-o-lantern pumpkin head -He is a fearful sight.
If I were you, I'd be afraid, To meet him outside in the night.
By day he is a pumpkin, But just you wait 'til night.
When out of eyes and nose and mouth There shines a yellow light

here's 2 riddles for a pumpkin

Keep your lovely heads, my dears,
If you know what I mean…
Unless you want to be in pie,
Stay hidden or stay green!

or

When you see me in the fields,
My orange glowing in the sun,
It's time to say goodbye to summer
and hello to autumn fun!
