Every year the party grows in attendance and my over-ambition, and I can't seem to keep up with my hostess duties, so I am kinda looking for a little hostess help. I have one friend who is slated to do this already but I need some input.

Our annual Halloween party theme this year is "twisted fairy tales" and my idea was to have a couple evil fairies running around for the first couple hours, answering the door for me, and playing with/creeping out guests in character, ala Disneyland. My idea was that one would be more in charge of playing patticake and other school yard type games with any willing guests and passing out favors and generally handling most of the goest interactions while the other would handle face/body painting with UV paints to accompany the black lights. Here's where I've hit a wall.

I have quite a few performer friends who may be willing to do the performance part for the first couple hours of the evening of it in exchange for a free costume, which I have handcrafted (they look awesome by the way) but I can't seem to find anyone with any paint skills. The one person I asked wanted $80 and hour for painting!!!!

So, what other adult friendly activities might my other fairy lead? I am more looking for an activity than a game as I have noticed that it doesn't go well to ask adults to play too many "games." There will also be a few children but probably only half a dozen and 50-60 adults.

You could get decals or Halloween tattoos for the fairy to put on people--no paint skills needed. You can also apply rhinestones, sequins, fake flowers, plastic spiders, bugs, etc. to skin with eyelash adhesive--which again does not require a lot of artistic talent (though it is a plus). There are also "kits" with eye designs etc. that you can get at Walmart that are easy to put on people. You can get all of these things that would already react to black lights, or you can put the UV paints on the flowers etc.
