Anyone ever made or tried pumpkin chili? I found a recipe and it sounds amazing!! I'm so excited to make it. I've been thinking about it all day. If it turns out well or if it turns out not so good, but I can tweak it a little bit to get it on par, I'm gonna serve it at my haunted dinner partay!
Check it out. Tell me what you think...

I've never tried anything like that. Let us know how it comes out!

I think I would almost chunk the pumpkin rather than use canned, but I really like the idea.

Now you've got me curious! Sounds like it could taste very good but could also taste weird. It's a very unusual combination. If you try it and think it's needs something I suggest adding some pumpkin spice and Tabasco.

Ok reporting back...it was....so good!! The pumpkin was perfect! I used chicken instead of turkey cause that's what I had on hand. I'm not a big turkey fan anyway, it's to gamey for me. I also didn't have black beans on hand, so I used pinto instead. It was the shiz! I do wish now that I had used black beans because it would have been very pretty. This is going on the haunted menu for sure

I am of recent a vegetarian, did the chicken make a lot of difference? Got to play with this recipe cause it sounds real good.

Sounds interesting, might have to try it. I was wondering though, if anybody has a recipe for a punch, something warm, and with alcohol in it?

I don't think so! I bet you could put corn especially in it. And whatever veggies you want. And use veggie broth instead of chicken broth. Might need to alter the spices in that case. (i think the meat and the fat in the broth hold spice and salt better than veggies) give it a try!
