To all ambitious cooks,
I love to make a pumpkin bake for Halloween. I basically put ground beef or turkey, chopped onions and bell peppers, rice, cheese, and seasonings into a hollowed out pumpkin and bake it in the oven. Then I scoop out the pumpkin meat along with the rest of the filling. It tastes very similar to squash.
I recently got the idea to do individual pumpkins instead of a medium sized pumpkin. Has anyone every tried to cook the mini pumpkins? Any suggestions or tips? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything, but I may have missed it.
Thanks!

The sugar/"mini"/"pie" pumpkins are actually the ones that are meant to be used as food. Carving pumpkins aren't bred for flavor or texture so they make terrible pies.
