I have recently bought a DVD projector, its a really great bit of kit for the price.
I was thinking about projecting some horror movies on an outside wall or in my garage as a make shift cinema!
The DVD projector, projects about a 6' x 3' picture on any flat surface but has no external outlets so you have to rely on the single built in speaker.
Any suggestion as to full on action movies? I have a feeling folk will be talking over the sound so more action less speaking movies would be best!

Well, you could always do Nosferatu. It doesn't NEED sound. Or any other subtitled movie, really. What kind of party are you having? You could put one of the Saw movies on, if no kids are gonna be watching. You don't really need to hear the later sequels. Freddy vs Jason would probably work without sound. Hmm, I'm not really sure. I'll have to think some more.
I hate cul-de-sacs. There's only one way out, and the people are kind of weird.

That's really cool. May I ask how much it set you back?

I wanted to ask the same thing... I'm considering investing in one for halloween mostly. How far does it project?

Thanks guys, in fact now I have used it a few times the volume is pretty good!
I live in the UK but it cost about $100 from EBay.
The projector really works well, you need a very flat white surface to get the best results but the picture is great.

That's really not a bad price at all. So not in my budget this year lol, but I'll definately keep it in mind. Thanks for posting this!
