I want to send my invitations out this year buy dvd. Can somebody tell me the best way to record it online so it will be playable on every dvd player. (pictures, video, ill be using windows movie maker) I am scared that most people will have a mac which cannot play windows movie maker if they played on their computer other than the dvd player. I hope this makes sense

There is lots of conversion software out there, but I don't know exactly which one would be best... hopefully someone in the know will chime in.
Alternate option:
If it was me, I'd email invites that link to a YouTube video that you uploaded (eliminates having to buy, burn and send out a bunch of dvds). OR send out interesting paper invites that direct them to the site (you can even do your own QR code box so you don't have to type out the addy: http://www.qrstuff.com/I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Thank you! I like your alternate ideas, I might just go that route!

I think you can record to an avi file in that program, can't you? If so, I am pretty sure even people with macs can view .avi files. Good luck! Let us know what you end up doing!

Where do you plan on getting your video graphics/clips from? I have real player sp (it lets you download pretty much any video from the web) but it will not work for Windows Movie Player. I'm not sure what kind video converter you have to have to make that work. Does anyone know? I'v spent alot of time and it then I found out it wouldent work. Good luck. I really like Frankies Girl's Idea.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

rockplayson I just plan on taking images from online free sources (so I am not copy writing anything) I am trying to save as .avi file but it seems they are not playing in some dvds? I am going to look into the real player sp to see how that works for me.
