Hi everyone!! So I am starting to collect candy for my candy buffet this year. I have expanded it to about 12 large jars
and two small ones, and need some ideas. Last year I had six large jars and two small, but wanted it bigger this year. So I am thinking:
    Candy Corn
    Reeses Pieces
    Halloween M&Ms
    Wrapped Bubble Gum
    Gummi Bears
    Caramel Apple Suckers...
now I need some more ideas. I start buying candy early because it ends up being a bit of expense, on top of what I handout for TOT (full size candy bars)
    So...ideas please

How about some taller candy for visual interest? Twizzlers, lollipops, rock candy on a stick, or pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and Halloween sprinkles.

those are great ideas. Color scheme is orange and black, lol! I have a sheer spider web table cloth I use, and decorate all the jars with spiders, beads, ribbons, etc. Jars are clear. would like to keep a color scheme but want fruity candy too..

Things like licorice and hard candy sticks come in different flavors/colors.

NOT cheap, but a TON of options and may give you some ideas.

Oriental Trading Company has a decent selection of both name brand candies and novelty items: pixie sticks, rock candy, JellyBelly, candy bones, Tootsie Rolls; gummy earthworms, bugs, roadkill, eyeballs, and other body parts. They're lacking in good chocolate selections, though.
I don't know about Party City's online selection, but the store closest to where I live has lots of different kinds of candies.
    Good luck with your buffet.

I just got a shipment in the mail yesterday of orange/black/purple/green big gumballs, jelly beans, licorice sticks, and rock candy suckers all in the same colors. Of course this is for a kids party....LOL The site I ordered from had the best price on product/shipping, www.ohnuts.com . I posted that somewhere in another post. They have lots to choose from, even orange and black malted milk balls and pumpkin flavor ones too! I am going to order those when the weather cools off a bit. Right now I'd have to pay extra for shipping. The box I received was super heavy and only cost me 3 dollars and some change to ship. Can't beat that!
