I need some ideas for activities for my Halloween party. The theme is centered around horror movies. Kids are present but I alwayss have plenty things for them. It's mostly an outside party. Last year the theme was rockstars & each person had a perforrmance. It was a hit but I have no ideas for this year...please help!

Maybe if you've got the sort of friends who like acting out as per your last theme, you could ask every one to act a short scene from a movie the person they are coming as starred in. So someone coming as Dracula could do a short monologue from a Dracula movie, etc etc.

I've always found that doing a scavenger hunt is always fun for the kids and adults, you can do a horror movie "scene it" as well, or if you're feeling really creative, conduct a mystery party where everyone gets and envelope full of clues and basically play clue with everyone. This one takes a lot of time to plan out but turns out to be a blast (as long as everyone plays by the rules of course). Hope this helps.

You need to check out Heather's movie poster game, I have all of the poster files that she sent me last year if you need them. You could print them all out and place them around the party area, or you could load them onto a digital photo frame. I actually turned them into a video slideshow and added background music and then burned them onto a DVD so that I could play it on my TV. She did a really good job with these and the game turned out great!
