    Ok, my wife's mothers birthday is Halloween. My wife has become pretty good at make the 3d cakes and last year came up with a present being unwrapped and out popped a ghost. She made a square cake for the box obviously and we created a pole stand to put the ghost on. The ghost is a round cake using a ball mold with fondant over him. The tissue paper is just that tissue paper. It looks like this;

    What I am looking for is anybody have ideas for this years cake?

    It depends how much of a sense of humor she has. I just found this one awhile back: http://boingboing.net/2011/07/06/walking-dead-cake.html based on the Walking Dead series. Love this cake and may request a friend make it for this year's party... But if you want to really do some hard core research, do a Google image search on Halloween cakes and take your pick. At the very least, they'll be a jumping-off point for you.
    Hope that helps!
