Thread: Need Help With Naming Food

Okay so after I had finalized all my plans for my Voodoo party...I went and changed my mind Looks like our backyard party will consist of a graveyard (Entrance), Witch display with couldron (Tempt your Fate), Spiders Lair (Main Area for games and what not) and Witches House (Food Tent).

I am decorating the food tent to turn the table into a large hutch which will house spell books, potion bottles, candles and the like...I would like to incorporate the food into the design but Im having trouble coming up with names...Here is my menu:

Pucking Pumpkin...Spinach Artichoke Dip

Crab Dip (this is the one you do in layers: spread out cream cheese then cocktail sauce then crab meat) I'm thinking the name could include blood or spiders...

Queso Dip in a pumpernickle bread couldron

Lil Smokies in chili sauce...

For Dessert:
I will be making Mummy Rice Crispy Pops and Eyeball Cake Balls

Please feel free to add some suggestions for both names and recipes....thanks so much

Hmm, well some of the things you're making don't really need a name. I too, am making a puking pumpkin. I don't think I'll even label that dish, as I think most folks will know what it is lol. The crab dip ~ 'entrail spread' Queso dip in the bread boule, just call it 'bubbling cauldron dip'. The Lil smokies in chili sauce ~ 'severed fingers'. And your desserts won't really need a name. Guests will clearly be able to see 'mummies' and 'eyeballs'
