Thread: 2010 Sleepy Hollow Video Invite

Every year I spend a good deal of time and money on our invites. Last year we sent out a video in conjunction with our card stock invites which took me 20+ hours and $40 to assemble. The video, which took a couple hours to make and $0 was so much better received that I'm ONLY doing a video invite for 2011. The website at the end used to have all the details of the party, including directions and place for RSVPs. I took it down though to keep my privacy.



Now that you've seen it. I need help with my wording for my twisted fairy tales invite wording. It's a series of clips showing a fairy tale forest becoming evil. I need wording that encapsulates this evil forest theme with the fact that it's the 4th annual Halloween party but I can't quite get it right. It needs to be short though since it's going into the video in 2 short blips. Some ideas to get the ball rolling.

"This year at the 4th annual Halloween Party... fairy tales don't have happy endings." Too long.

"At the 4th annual Halloween Party... They all lived unhappily ever after."

Dunno if this is too long for what you're after but how about.....

At the 4th annual Halloween Party...fairy tales don't have happy endings.
Stories no longer end in joy and laughter...an evil has spread throughout the enchanted woods
Grimm becomes more than the writer with the tales ending unhappily ever after
