Seems to me that few of the Punch "tricks" work that well for me...
Tonic water? Have to park a Blacklight right over it.
Dry Ice? To harsh to use, needs constant refilling, expensive.
So I thought, what if it was bubbling? No steam, no glow, just bubbling?
It struck me that water bubblers, like those used in fish aquariums, might do the trick.
Anyone ever try this?

Never tried it but seems like it would work to me. Sounds like a very cool idea too, I might add. I just wonder if the sugars would mess up the bubbler? I would think so over time for sure. Might be ok though if you clean them right away, run them again with just clean hot water maybe.

kprimm sounds right on the money about usage/cleaning of the aquarium bubbler- I've never tried it either, but sounds like a very workable idea & a cool effect, Spats.
I've parked an LED blacklight not right over the glass punch bowl but under it to good effect, btw.The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague.
Who shall say where the one ends...the other begins?

Food safe food safe food safe food safe food safe. I did find this: http://www.candyfab.org/article.php/elite799
The comment to use a peristaltic pump was a good idea, but you can't get those very cheaply, especially one made for air. On the other hand, the thought that "it's designed to NOT kill your fish so it can't be toxic" is also a good point.
Put the LEDs in the punch. Silicone or other food grade clear tubing. Food grade silicone sealant. Make a small LED "rope light" and seal one end with silicone (or heat seal it). Shape it into a coil. Low voltage only (don't use 12v to power a 3.5v LED)! Batteries preferred. Just use D-cells or something that'll last a long time.

Here's my idea, instead of making a project like Xane suggested, you can use "floralytes" to achieve the glow you are looking for. They are lights used in the floral industry to light clear vases. I think they make some that drop in the liquid and some that fit underneath. Good luck!
