I wanted to get your opinions, critiques, or any suggestions you may have. I've been working on an invite for my Movie Monster Bash party for this year. The plan is to put it on dvd and mail them out to guests. I keep tweaking little things on it. I'm trying to get as much as i can done this summer before school starts up in the fall again. I'm in nursing school and next semester will be particularly busy.

Nice job on the invite. I think the only thing I would do is add a picture of Chucky. People fear him and he is a pretty iconic movie monster.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

I think it's great! The music is perfect for the theme. The only thing I think was missing was date/time/address, but I realize you probably left that off on the "public release" so your info isn't floating around the world wide web. Curious - what program did you use? We've been playing with a couple for our mystery party trailers.

Very nice! I really really love the look of the lettering...the graininess. Music is perfect. I think it looks just great!

That invite sure is creepy! The music is perfect. Sounds familiar, must've heard it from some scary movie. Why not add a "bleeding effect" to the text when showing/ enumerating the monsters?

Yeah, he is part of the party. I wasn't sure how many to add to the invite though. I didn't want it to be too much. But, i think i will go ahead and add him. Thanks!
The date and time were at the beginning. I don't add my address. Everyone i invite already knows where i live. So, we simply address it is as the "Meier Morgue". My house.
I use microsoft windows movie maker. It's super easy to use and either already comes with your microsoft package on your computer or it is free to download on the internet. I use audacity to edit music and splice in sound effects.
Thank you, mhooch!
The music is the theme song from the saw movies. I tried to go with a whole saw feel...the fuzzy tv, "i want to play a game," Billy the puppet's laugh, and "make your choice."

Really great idea! We did a video ad last year for our party and people LOVED it! I'm sure your Movie Monster Bash will be a huge success!
